The city of Huaraz, Ancash, Perú.

After spending most of the afternoon and evening shooting photos of the high peaks of the
cordillera, I thought that maybe I should point the lens down, for a change, toward the city
below. Situated at an elevation of 3080m, and with a population of slightly over 100,000, Huaraz
is the capital of the Department of Ancash, and is the center for hikes and larger expeditions
into the Cordillera Blanca.
