I walked out of Baños del Inca while the morning sky was still black, and managed to climb part
way up Cerro Callacpuma in the darkness. A rising crescent moon presented itself over the crest of
the mountain, to be followed shortly by the rising sun that was just beginning to light the
horizon to the east.
