Little Cities of Black Diamonds

Our visit to the Little Cities or Black Diamonds in May of 2006 was extremely successful. We stayed with a lovely couple in their bed and breakfeast on a Lama farm. Mike got caught in the Lama pen and quickly became a freind. The little cities were once prosperous coal mining towns with booming economies and company owned stores, bars, and industry. They are now gone, but not forgotten. If you have a chance this trip is well worth the while.
