Hi Pat...The picture of Selwyn is in particular a fond memory. I lived on Selwyn and remember when they built that library right on the corner. The emergency room for Lebanon hospital was on the other corner across. In fact that tall building is where I lived on the grand (1770) concourse from the age of 12, not far from Wade JHS 117. One of the small brick buildings is where my grandmother lived, and another is where my favorite teacher from 6th grade from PS 70 lived, Mrs. Spatz. I have driven through the neighborhoods, and I knew them all frequently in the recent past as it is my usual route home from Yankee Stadium, and heading to the XBronx Expressway to the GW Bridge.
