I lived first at 811 Walton, then 975 Walton. We moved out in 1968 when I was about 6 to L.I. Such fond memories of playing in the park across from the Courthouse. My mom was a teacher at PS 114, where I attended kindergarten.

OMG, this is the last staircase where I used to live with my grandmother on the 3rd floor apt C8, my mom,dad and brothers were on the other side they lived on the 5th floor apt E7. These were good memories of my childhood my grandmother and I moved to Queens in 1975 I believe, my teenage years and adult were Queens, never went back. Thanks for walk down memory lane.

1631 Walton Avenue... I lived there with my Mom, Dad and two brothers. My Grandmother and my sister lived on the side where your photo features the staircase. We lived in the middle section in apartment E7 (fifth floor) and my Grandma lived in C8. We used to go through the roof to go to my Grandma's house! I am 52 years old now and we lived there during the late 60's up through to 1976 when we moved to Queens. I went to PS 70 and then to C.E.S. 64. Thank you so much for the memories.

my parents moved into that apartment as newlyweds in late 1950's, and my older sister was born while they were living there. When I can along later they moved to a larger apartment in the front of the building. Solid plaster walls, beautiful hardwood floors, big rooms
