Night Vision

Experimenting with flash indoors along with low level evening house-light. The ambition was to get proper exposure in the subjects eyes, the soul of the subject.

Nikon D800, Nikon AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED, SB600 flash with StoFen Diffuser, tripod
Exposure = 1/60s f/8.0 at 105.0mm iso100 with flash, spot metering
Flash info = on hot shoe, iTTL, EV=0
White balance pre-set via white reference card
Focus distance = 1.5 meters

Wonderful close up, Roy. Wonderful detail. Great focus on the cat's eyes. They stand out wonderfully against that darkish fur.
