This plane was used in very early war movies. Its very heavy due to all the oak in its inner structure and some of the bi wing supports. It has all the original wood except for the cross piece between the tired as it had rotted too badly. The wood propeller was very delaminated and they injected glue between the layers and used some kind of powerful shrink wrap to press it all together. It has beautiful brass on the leading edges. It also has exposed rocker arms that had to be oiled before each flight, so when they start taking off the engine blows that oil in the pilots face. What a mess.
