Comida en Murcia
Our friend Javier had arranged a dinner of Murcian specialities at a local restaurant , "El Fogón".
This foto shows the main course, Cocido de Cerdo. This is the Murcian version of the popular Spanish cocido, hot-pot or pot au feu. It is a broth containing garbanzos, a fresh ham hock and more. The preceding courses were Migas, Zarangollo, Verduras Parilladas. All served with pitchers of beer, AND a couple of bottles of vino tinto de Jumilla.
