Everyone was so nicely dressed back then - as compared to nowadays. I occasionally drive by a private school in Cleveland, and all the little girls are in blue jumpers with white blouses, and the boys wear white shirts, ties and black slacks. It is so refreshing to see this. Also, my weekly trips to Amish country, show nicely dressed youngsters too. Down there, they walk to school on the roadsides, and across pastures.
