Stopped pellet with sound slave

This pic is one that was taken with a real sound trigger. These FWB 300s are quite noisy (mechanically) and I couldn't dial the sound trigger in - no matter what I tried (long story). Sometimes the photo came after the pellet was in the target, and other times the pellet was still deep in the barrel. This picture was pure luck - a random occurrence. The flash was in front and it captured the pellet's shadow on the target paper.

I did build a mechanical switch which worked off the rifle's recoil, but that story will wait for another day.

other sizes: small medium original auto
