I pulled it apart and shortened it by one board - in the rear most end. The plans called for 4X6 legs, but I used pressure treated 4X4s. These are plenty heavy and strong.

If I were to build it again, I would use 2x4s for the longitudinal stringers instead of 2x6s. I mean, four of these should be plenty strong enough to carry the weight of the rifle and my arms. Just my thoughts.
