I'm seeing a lot of this lately; and there are many variations on this theme. All of them try to scare you, and extort money. They take your money, but they also have your credit-card number. That's the scarey part. They will be back for more later.

They try hard to make you think they are a reputable program. Don't fall for it, even though they dominate your Desktop. These are called "rogues". Use Malwarebytes, or A-squared to remove these nasties. Both are free.
