Trip to Cape Town 1964

Road trip from Lourenco Marques, Mozambique (now Maputo) to Cape Town. Out via Swaziland, stopping in the Drakensberg and then along the coast: return via Kimberley. Photos taken with my father's Zeiss Ikon Ikonta 6x9 camera.

try a search for Baboons at Cape Point - they exist and are both a tourist attraction and an enviromental challenge

Guest: these monkeys were seen not in Cape Town but on the way to the Cape of Good hope. They were known as "Cape Monkeys". As far as I know mokeys are still present in the area: try a Google search for Cape Monkeys
