An abandoned Great Dane I found at a desolate warehouse off of Route 66.
First time I met her, she scared the bejesus out of my model and I. We went there to do a photo-shoot and walked in on her. She was laying on the cool warehouse floor shielding herself from the desert heat. Although startled, all she did was barked a couple of times then proceeded to leave the area.
During the time we were there, she always maintained her distance from us and never acted aggressive. If anything, she seemed interested in the photo-shoot that was taking place. Due to the location and distance to the nearest home, it was obvious she was either abandoned or some how had wondered off and got lost.
After the shoot, I called at her and gave her the food and water we had bought at McDonald's. She ate the 20 chicken nuggets and drank 2 litters of water. Tawney (My model) felt so bad for her, that she took her pictures using her cell and posted a message on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram asking if anyone would be interested in adopting a sweet old gal Great Dane. Within 20 minutes a friend of hers called and said her parents (Whom have owned Grate Danes in the past) were interested in adopting her.
Last I heard, Daisy had found a loving home and was dong well.
