Comparrison between blue light filtered and white light filtered image of the sun .
Both shots were taken at the same day within the same hour .
Both images were adjusted to match brightness , then pasted in a new frame where the foto was further processed .
Differences are subtle .
the dark spots in the blue light shot are slightly darker and you may see a bit more "roughness" in the solar disk .
Using a blue filter with a narrower bandpass (calcium K filter ) would increase the contrast adding more detail to the images .
