Advice for a newbie: Take your cam and go out. Take photos. As much as you can. You have a digital cam, you can shot and delete as much as you want. In har d light conditions, use manual mode. Take you cam always with you, when you left it at home, you will get the perfect motive ;-). And, whts most importend: "Have fun!"
