Post Processing details: Resize to 800x600, no other processing.
Photography tips: The AV output is neat for taking self portraits.
Photo setup: I used the camera in manual mode with my external flash (both camera and flash were on tripods). I expermented with f/stops until I got to the largest f/stop that would provide adequate lighting with the flash (f/5.6). I used the AV cable to hook the camera up to my TV set so I could properly frame the picture while laying on the ground. Then I turned on the remote mode and used the RM-1 to remotely zoom in/out so I was framed properly and then to trigger the picture. FWIW, I discovered that when I was laying down on the ground I was too far away to trigger the camera, and had to sit up, trigger the camera and lay back down within the 3 seconds before the camera took the picture. Having review mode on, I was able to see what the shot looked like in the TV after it was taken.

A very creative set up and idea. The focus and colors are excellent. The background is a bit busy for me. Stinson's idea of narrowing the DOF so the background would blurr is good or just removing some of the distractions (footstool, etc). Well done though. Looking forward to seeing shots of you in this garb. -- El-See

Very ingenious set up. This shot has great planning, detail and colors. I would suggest that if the DOF could have faded from the boots back then it would be awesome.
