Advice to Newbies: Know your camera. Understand every button and menu selection on it. If the manual doesn't help, then search the forum and ask the questions. Shoot every kind of subject imaginable under different conditions. Get a tripod and shoot your scenics in early morning and late evening. Look at great photographs and understand what made them great
