We hiked out at a blistering pace. We made it back to the car in 4 1/2 hours (just over half the time it took us to hike in). We were tired, but looking forward to buffalo, ostrich and venison burgers in Lone Pine!

Well, we didn't get beer, but the very nice people that took this photo for us offered us soda. At first we politely refused... thought a moment... then said
