This is here to illustrate the setup. The main light is at f11 when metered toward the light (not the camera)
from the middle of the chair and the soft box above the light is acting as a fill at 1/10th under f5.6 or 2 stops lower.
There is a grid on the main and oval mask on the fill to somewhat direct the light at the chair and cut down the light on the backdrop.
