This was an ultra-tuff wine glass that wouldn't break easily.
Karl was dropping the stud from a light stand into the glass and we had neat splashes
but this is where Karl basically threw the stud into the glass.
Here, it missed and broke the side.

I have asked several times, "how may glasses did it take" or "did I use a burst mode to catch the perfect moment" and I'm proud to say that this is simply
me watching the object closely and Karl precisely counting for my benefit. It only took 2 glasses and both "breaks" are seen on this page.
I did, of course half-press the shutter and eagerly wait to fully press it by timing myself "before impact".
