This image is a strange composite. I took many brackets of this scene with an infrared filter and then chose a favorite.
I then added an adjustment layer to remove saturation and juice up the levels.
After that, I put the same image, without the IR filter, under the IR and then changed the opacity of the IR to 50%.
It gave the sky neat depth while maintaining the good contrast from both images.
