It's quite a challenge taking an image like this on self timer and we had some with better dog faces but my expression was psychotic. This was a 20 second timer shot where I picked up the dog, who hates being lifted, and then began making clicking noises right before the shutter went off. One light only at the front with a fill reflector. A tiffen black diffusion filter was used as well.
