Don't know Fords as well as I do Chevys, but I couldn't help but think about the style differences in the years...cars commenced to be "boxey"..the 51 is much more attractive in its curved lines...Our family car growing up was a 49 woody...

looks like a 53 to me based on the split grill in the center and the small openings around the tail lights. These were the preludes to the 54's design. This is a prize. I was in the 10th grade when this car came out. Enjoy.
