I had a 1951 Ford Custom four door sedan, just like the one in your photos. It was one of the best cars I ever owned. V8, with overdrive. I beat 1955 Oldsmobile 88s from a dead start, and their drivers could not beleive they were beat. I had blck paint, with four coats of primer; a good wash had that paint shining like crazy; whitewalls, chrome, full wheel, moon shaped, wheel discs. Never took photos of the car and finally demolished it after too much alcohol. Thank you for your photos; and the memories!
