I had a hair-cut in Madurai but that was rather a nasty experience. They asked me for a head massage and I thought, why not. So they did the massage with plenty of oil in my hair, and I expected that they would wash it out afterwards. No they couldn't as they didn't had any running water, in the middle of Madurai. I had to run first all the way to my hotel to wash it out.

So I didn't take a photo from a barbershop in Madurai, only in Mamallapuram, the real professionals, and a must to go over here.
