A view from the centre of the town to the opposite hill as Kodaikanal town is spread over the hills here at 2133 meters high.
Anyone who stayed at the Taj must have known George as I never skipped to visit him when I passed Kodai. Kodaikanal is only a 120km drive from Madurai and a perfect place to cool off from the heat as it is only 19°c average during the day. Try to avoid cloudy or rainy weather as it is really chilly then and most hotels have no central heating.
