Lunch time at school. I wandered over by the school yard and talked with the Principal, or School Master and apologized for disturbing the children's school with all our noise. He replied apologeticly that he was trying to keep the kids quiet so as not to disturb us!

We were on the beach at Accra taking pictures with digital cameras and showing the kids their images on the LCD screens on the cameras. They didn't quite know what to make of that, but they loved having their pictures taken.

All the kids going to school were dressed neat and sharp. This little girl saw me and I gestured to my camera and then to her, she only came out this far...

This was actually not shot in Accra. We were on a road trip up to Lake Volta and on our way back we stopped at a road side turn out. There were dozens of people selling food and drink items to cars and trucks along the highway. As we sat in the van I had my arm resting out the window. I felt someone touching my arm and looked down to see this young girl stroking my arm. I held out my hand and she touched and felt my skin for 5 minutes or more. I brought up my camera for a quick shot. Her expression is priceless to me...
