Children of Accra 01
The area that we visited was a kind of a shanty town near the capital. The people were very warm and friendly. The highlites were always the children, curious and quick to smile, many had not seen white people before, much less touched one or talked to one. White people just never come to this part of town. We had a great time. Also discovered that Ghanaians love America and Americans. All of these shots of kids were done in and around this town.
Ghana Street Scene 2
This was right next door to the Church we visited. Very nice dog.
Ghana Street Scene 3
We were wandering the back alleys of the town we were in. Fortunately we had quite a few locals with us or we would have gotten lost in the maze of alley-ways.
Ghana Street Scene 4
Don't worry, the goat was only scratching his chin on the ground.
Ghana Street Scene 5
We attracted attention whenever we pulled into town. These kids were playing soccer and saw me shooting their picture as we drove by. These two shots are the result.
Ghana Street Scene 7
The little guy on the right was not too sure about me...
Ghana Street Scene 8
The expression of the guy on the left speaks volumes...
Ghana Street Scene 9
Maybe not the best exposure on the shot, but these little girls were so cute.
Ghana Street Scene 10
Everybody carries things on their heads. It's a whole nation with perfect posture.
Ghana Street Scenes 1
This was shot in the town where we were just outside of Accra. Just an average street scene on an average street.
