Bill, My understanding is that the Westerbeke and Perkins are the same basic engine but completed by the two different companies. I would expect that some of the added components (alternator, heat exchanger, etc.) might be different. The people at deiseldirect.com seem to know these engines really well. That is where the shematics presented come from. Garry

The Westerbeke 4-108 is the same engine as the Perkins 4-108 ? Are all the parts interchangeable or only some ? Nice photos, wish the engine lub photo is much bigger
