Continuing the modified J.M. Browning design theme here we have a Coonan .357 Magnum in a 1911-style pistol. This thing is about as much fun as the .30 Carbine Automag, but a lot more serious. Anyone who has shot a .357 knows that it's serious business, and I have to say that out of an auto pistol it is amazing. Once again the muzzle blast is significant, and I think that this would be a serious problem for anyone who had to use one of these for serious social work without the benefit of having first put in ear plugs, but that's been true of the .357 for years.
