These pistols were sort of a solution in need of a problem, but that said they are a lot of fun. Designed originally for use in rifles, the .30 Carbine round when fired out of a pistol has a tremendous muzzle blast due to powder still burning. This makes for a lot of looks and grins at the range. If you're looking for something oddball and fun, you could do a lot worse than one of these Automag III variations on the 1911 theme.
