One of the regular visitors to the garden was this huge lizard. Every day he would come by around the same time and munch on the lettuce. There was plenty of lettuce to go around (as you’ll see in the next image), so I just let him eat as much as he wanted. After a while he became sort of a pet. After his meal each day he would come by and visit me under the tree while I was reading. There were a couple of times where he laid down right beside my feet. I think he might have been a dog in a previous life.
