5th - Made in Sweden, by Alistair

I'm a sucker for these old Paraffin (Kerosene) stoves and lamps, and still use them when we go camping, much to the amusement and sometimes consternation of other campers.

Really love the clarity of the colors, the nice sharp focus on the burner and the softer focus - almost B&W of the rocks. Very nicely unique!

Your picture reminds Me, that I have to buy portable hiking stove like this, or a like. Fine colors and idea to present energy theme, in compact form :-)

Thanks all... I should clarify, the items that really scare other campers are a Petromax lamp and it's smaller sibling, a geniol lamp. These are also Kerosene, but to prime them you don't use a puddle of meths, but an in-built blow-lamp, which sounds like a bit like a jet engine. Alistair

Great stuff, the colours radiating out are wonderful. I remember these things, I reckon they are safer than some of the modern gaz things, ot at least, just as dangerous!

I also love the colors but I cant understand why other campers would concern themselves with your little kerosene stove. When I car camped I used a three burner Colman white gas stove, notorious for scaring the h@#l out of neighbors because it would sometimes flare up pretty good on start up.

Brings back memories of paraffin , meths, jet pricks and lots of pumping. That's a larny one, we can still buy a PRIMUS (aade in India) stove at some of the out of town general dealers. Great shoot love the colours radiating from the center.

Great color! I like the contrast of the near primary colors of the stove against the near colorless stones... I hope you didn't have to pitch your tent over such rocky ground!
