4th - More Hot Water -ArtP
by ArtP

Hmm, solar energy collected by plants, concentrated by geothermal and gravitational forces... chemical energy converted to thermal energy, then absorbed to change phase from liquid to gas... all for your viewing pleasure.

A terrific shot! Everything works together to produce a memorable still-life image.

Wow Art - from a hohum shot to real eye catcher - the steam really show nicely, the glow on the kettle picking up the room's warmth and the gas color contrasting nicely with the red-orange of the ambiant light. Great improvement!

As apparently the only person who didn't look closely at the first version, I'll just say that this is a beautiful image and a superb take on the theme. I really like it a lot.

Thanx everyone, I took everyone's suggestions into consideration to come up w this version... and yes, I did polish the pot a little... well, this side at least (g)

This one worked out very well indeed, the compostion is much tighter now and the highlite on the steam makes the story complete.

Yes there you go. This is much better. You can see the steam and flames the lighting also adds to the brooding feeling.

Ah yes! There ya go Art, I like this one much better. Not that I didn't like that first one, it was nice too. The steam really shows up better in this shot and I like that nice red color in this one. Good job on this redo!
