Wow, this one is hot! Both literally in appearance, and metaphorically. All that's missing is a solar prominence lifting itself out of the gold.

I'm imagining a surface of an alien planet much like how Venus is described. Hot molten surfaces with a sulfuric atmosphere. Excellent pp.

Again with the textures. The coloring makes the ice look like wind- and sea-swept sand. It's a happy delusion ;-)
