Very good monotone shot Charlie.

The tidal range is obviously great in this location; it reminds me of our local Bay of Fundy with its mud flats and ice caked across them. A study in cold, grey flatness - but this is not without its own kind of beauty.

Again I'm dreaming this cold water moving sooo slowly up and down. Something about dense and difficult fluidity, Nature is rolling into her winter bed. endika

Real febuary feel - dark, cold and what looks like rain falling away in the distance. This, along with your other image, make a great set.

Even in this size the picture looks more than good. I don't like the winter time, but still love this scenery. Light on the horizon as a promise for better times to go.

I love this monotone shot of winter. The steel blue color in the sky, water and ice make the shot.

Wonderful colour Charlie, and the dead centre horizon echoes the endless winter feel,

I really likr the gradual shift in texture from the rough foreground to the silky sky, all on an icy blue backdrop. Just great.

late winter. don't you wish! It is just starting for you guys :-)

Is that steam rolling up past the ice - or the waves breaking. I like the indeterminate transition to clouds and the strong texture/ geometery of the ice below.
