I really love this Dennis! If not for the shallow DOF I don't know if you could have seen the wonderful petal shapes of the fungi at all!! The colors are gorgeous, and they almost look like moth wings all stacked up. Like I said, I love this one.

The colours and lighting are just great and the detail in the fungi makes for real interest in this shot. There is a real feeling of warmth and dampness.

I'm a fungus nut, and this one is gorgeous - like a rainbow brought to earth and given the tones of nature. I had actually thought of doing a fungal shot myself, but wouldn't be able to top what you've done with yours. Brenda
