The skin textures are terrific! This is a hand with character plus. That third finger looks a bit bent upwards as if it has been broken, or shaped by arthritis. The B&W draws attention to the wrinkles and creases - signs of both age and honorable toil. Brenda

I liked your idea here. It's easy to get shallow DOF (well somewhat) but to get an interesting nice photo is the hardest part and I like this one. It says a lot about those of us who really make the world go round. :o)
