I like this dark yellow fading in the light and only one sharp edge. It freeze My eyes, I almost can't explore the whole picture and have to return back to this sharp one edge. Funny feeling.

Nicely done Colin. I think though that it's the negative space (at bottom left) that'a causing tension with the composition.

I know what you mean Marc, I tried all sorts of different crops from several shots and couldn't find anything better.
Good lumps of fresh Hampshire mud though :-)

Interesting use of selective focus, I'm glad you left the whole blade in focus. It makes the "blades" seem somehow dangerous and sharp. The toning and color is perfect - bet it holds its own as a B&W as well.
