I think these are teasel, in the Dipsacus genus. Whatever they are, your lighting shows the fine structures that make all plants so visually, intellectually, and spiritually intriguing. --Stefan

I just love these! We have them here too, I thought at first they were pussy willow, but now I'm not sure. It doesn't really matter, they really make a wonderful photo and this is no exception. Spring has arrived at your location!
