more practice with "manual" focus stacking - cloning the sharp parts of one photo to another. This relatively flat one used 4 different DOFs.

Oh, I watched a youtube video about doing this and I never got around to trying it. I do love the results you ended up with. This could come in very handy in some situations. Like in portraits where you want very shallow DOF but want the subject entirely in focus. Nice job Brent.

I wouldn't have the skills or the patience for this kind of thing. You may have to put together an FAQ on focus stacking.
