Yes, Greece it is. I'm not allowed to post a link here so I'll put one in the forum thread. It's quite close to the sea but is well-hidden, the village used to be near the sea a few hundred years ago but due to raids by pirates they move inland a bit and out of sight. The houses are not the original ones of course, they get renovated quite often and the roofs you can see use a more recent type of tile which keeps the elements (and pests) out more effectively. My wife's parents are from this village (Vrissa) and we maintain a house which on this picture is to bottom left of the church. It's a bit off the beaten track but visitors are always welcome!

This is somewhere in Greece I guess, but it's very similar to many little towns in Spain. Not strange at all.
I like the light and peace feeling.

I'm curious where it is also. Maybe Barry is afraid we'll all invade his quite get-away place. LOL I love villages like this, it is something I really loved in England and Scotland, the villages sprawled out on a hillside.

I love all those tile roofs! Looks like a strong Mediterranean or Spanish influence here. Very inviting - and I, too, want to know where it is.

Yes, do tell where this is. It seems like a relatively high altitude. --Stefan
