The top third of this image is what helps to make it go from good to excellent, it's a little Turneresque and adds to the atmosphere beautifully. Good choice.

to say this photo has atmosphere is an understatement. For me it is kind of a ghostly but not scarey image. The color palatte is beautiful

Sure is due to the cinema's influence, but this makes me think in some lost fortress in a desolated planet. Agree in that this is one of the best photos posted by you. endika

This takes us into an alternate world - a voyage of mystery that is absolutely compelling. One of my all-time favourite shots and as Stefan says, it ought to be framed and exhibited and shared with a wider audience.
