Yep, this one is a lovely warm capture. It looks more candid than contrived which is extremely hard to achieve in a self portrait, I know, I tried!!

Super portrait Brent - now we see who you really are!

This is the "I've just been playing around and having fun" look. I think you have all 10 zones cover in this black and white

This naughty and clean look... keep it forever.

Every one of three portraits of you is excelent, but this one shows a nice simpathetic thinker ready for fun and is the ecual sign of first two.

Your eyes are so expresive Brent! Great choice to go b&w too. I can't decide if that is a shy grin or a touch of mischeviousness. I think it is the later. ;o) I like this one best of them all. This just seems most like the friend we've all come to know.

I too, wish everyone could come together in one place. I'll let you know if I win the lotto because I would, no doubt, fly each and every one of you here to MN. We could rent a house boat and just go float on a big lake and get to know each other over good eats and coffee. What fun would that be!

Hmm, is this still the EXIF from the first shot?
Brenda 23-Jul-2010 03:28
Darn, I missed my chance at commenting on the rubber-faced one! This is more serious, but with a twinkle. The eyes definitely have it. And there is a sense of a repressed guffaw, as if you've just heard something very amusing.

Well, now this is the third portrait of you that I've seen in this spot: shady, silly, and social. And all three have that special Brent-ness to them. Yup, we all have many sides. It'd be great to have a (root) beer or five with you some time. --Stefan

I liked the other portrait more.

Oh my Gosh!!! I can't stop laughing! You are so hilarious! Maybe that should be the next challege, give us your best crazy face! We all used to be very good at this as kids, right? I see you are not out of practice. Oh man, just way too funny. I think you just taught me how to smile!

Funny as this is, your other shot was probably a bit more photographically pleasing and interesting. I can't stop laughing, this just cracks me up!

This is a great portrait, Brent. I'm trying to work out how you see yourself in this; shy and enigmatic perhaps? Not really. BTW, there's a white dotted line under your eye (reflection?). Still, it's great!

Oh sure! Now you show me how to hide a chin! I need to show you how to have a big smile! ;o) Lovely portrait Brent, all kidding aside. I quite like the blue tones too, it gives it a moonlit feel.
