Ha ha ha. Chinese people will happily go any direction anytime in any lane, traffic or no traffic. The middle of the road is reserved for swerving drivers, changing lanes to go the wrong way, U-turns, pedestrians who failed to make it across in one move, and anyone else who takes a fancy to the middle.
