Thanks Brenda, I love trees too! it's amazing how every tree seems to have a distinct character of its' own. They are truly magical.

Thanks Miroslav, the climate is actually very mild... B&W can be such a powerful way to see the world differently :)

Looking at the trees and ground I'm guessing it is rough climate zone there, is it?

Magical! The stones and shadows, the grass and branches, all combine to lend atmosphere. There's something about bare trees that always sets my imagination on fire.

Woodland scenes with scattered boulders fascinate me; we don’t have anything like that round my way.
The angle of light has picked out the shapes and textures beautifully and the viewpoint makes me feel I'm huffing and puffing my way up the hill.
