The perfect snow to close out winter -ArtP
by ArtP

Late winter snow dumped a foot on us. It was fluffy, and blanketed the park beautifully. Best part tho, was that I was the first into the park, and got to see it in pristine condition, and not totally trashed by quads like every previous snow this winter.

You can't beat late spring snow, quarter sized flakes and all. The best part is usually the sun clears it up in a hurry. Nice leading line you have in this shot.

Thanks everyone! I agree- I'm ready for spring big time!
btw, the snow was 12", but fluffy, and Buddy refused to walk in it, so I did the whole loop of the park in a shuffle to make a trail he could follow (that's why it's so nice and defined)

The purity of the snow and the crispness of the track are both very inviting. Scenes such as this are fast fading, now that the sun is warmer. I like the way the shot leads my eye into the wintry woods.

Its so rare we get snow everyone rushes out to play so its hard to find a pristine covering, I really like it too.

I know just how it feels to be the first to step foot in the snow. There is a great silence created by a covering of snow too. It gives me a feeling simular to a very heavy fog, that feeling of true peace and solitude for a short time. I agree, the snow is a gift.
