Stained glass! There are so many figures in this and the green giving way to brown then black is just rich!

Nydelig!

(It's all been said, but not in Norwegian.)

Well everyone else has said it already all I can say is WOW.

We can pick our own frame colors? Hmmmm.

This is gorgeous. It reminds me of stained glass with the light filtering through, or a map with all those tiny indentations that form patterns like subdivisions and creek beds. Softness and sharpness combine nicely.

Endika, you're genius! It looks much better, thanks!

Hey, thanks Endika! I'll have a go with a white frame and see how it looks. I so often find this grey doesn't go well with anything that has warm colors, yellows and oranges and browns. I think I'll see how a white frame would look, or perhaps go black? I'll play around.

I like this very much, great texture, colours and comp. I like how it lacks the 4th "dot" in the lower left corner. I find the frame a little distracting, better in white? endika

Oh no, I hand held it. I should have had the tripod out today, to photograph some drops on leaves but, even with it in the backseat I couldn't use it. I forgot the piece that goes on the camera at home LOL. I can go down pretty low if I am leaning on something. I have found if I am just standing I can't do it! I sway back and forth and things go in and out of focus. I definately do a lot of leaning on the car or trees or whatever. Thanks Richard!

Please excuse my dyslexia.
I hope you can put the correct and missing words in my last post.
I often believe I was clear in my thinking and spelling that I don't need to use spell check, but alas, I can't communicate without it. ahggg

This is great Shirley, I think it is quite sharp especially with the shadows in the leaf viens. Please tell you used a tripod. I can't image IS helping with those EXIF stats.
If you hand held this I guess you really don't need own a tripod.

Thank you guys. It truly was in the woods too. Marc, I've had the EC14 for a bit over a year now but, I had such poor results with it and the E-300. In fact I was about to sell it for a big loss (considering I had only taken maybe 2 dozen shots at the most) but then a fellow forum memeber told me that for some reason the E-300 didn't focus properly with the teleconverter and if I was looking into a new body to hang on to the converter and try it again. Well as you can see, with the lens extended all the way out and the converter on, this came out pretty clear. Maybe a little loss in sharpness but not much.

Excellent transition ! Very good pic - see you added the ec14 to the 50-200, eh ?

Excellent Shirley, the texture, tone and lighting is perfect. Showing the different stages of decomposition is great. Nicely done.
