A great shot (but a bit tightly cropped).

But i really hate the effect on me when i intended to go to bed without a snack.

Thanks Brenda. That's what I was aiming for.

OK, so you've got several veggie bits and a great basil-leaf to top it all off. But more than that is the delectability factor! Makes me want to reach out and grab a mouthful. I like the way the red in the glass picks up the red pepper or tomato in the dish. The white provides a clean background setting as well.

Really attractive shot!

Shirley, if you've never tried it, I suggest you do. It's easy to make and must be one of the great dishes of the world IMO. You can get a recipe off Internet or if you prefer drop me a mail and I'll send you one.

Thanks Marc. Simple lighting - two softboxes, one left, one right, approx 2:1 lighting ratio.

Thanks Colin. I cropped the image because I thought there was just too much space - maybe I shouldn't have. Anyway I can't shoot it again 'cos I scoffed it.

Super lighting technique, easliy good enough for the food section in a colour supplement.
If I have a nit, it's that you cut the tip off of the bowl.
